Chicken Noodle Stirfry & Lettuce Pita Pocket

Perfect comfort food that parents will love as much as kids!

What you’ll need-

 Chicken Breasts – Cut into thin strips

Packet of noodles – We love udon but it’s totally up to you!

Veggies of choice – Try celery, peppers, carrots, onions – Chopped finely

1Tbsp Oil of Choice – Olive, rapeseed, coconut are all suitable

Flavouring of choice – We have tried sweet chili, soya, ginger and love them all!

 

How to do it-

Heat the oil on a large pan

Add the chicken strips – Cook until browning

Add the veggies – Cook for 5-10 minutes

Add noodles and add tang and relish to suit your tastes like 1tbsp of olive oil with 1/2 an inch of ginger grated , 1 garlic clove and 1 tbsp of soy mixed together  (even better – let your chicken stripes marinate in this) – older kids may like a dollop of sweet chilli sauce. – Cook for a further 4-5 mins dependant on your noodles.

 

Get the kids involved by trying out different fillings and see who makes the best!

 

What you’ll need-

Large Lettuce Leafs

 

Fillings of choice – We recommend tuna, chopped peppers and a dollop of mayo

Spices

 

It couldn’t be easier – Prepare your filling and spread over a lettuce leaf. Sprinkle a little spice and add another lettuce leaf!
